A study at Tsukuba University in Japan evaluated the reliability and validity of the technology used for Stress Indicator. The study assessed 106 subject's mental stress levels and found that the technology noted significant changes in a person’s voice under stressful conditions, in keeping with the other measures used to evaluate stress. The study authors concluded that the technology might be useful in the detection of mental stress.
